Interruptions to service during Life in the UK test

While taking the test, there are occasions where the test system is interrupted due to many reasons such as emergency maintenance or repairs that needed to be attended to immediately, or to carry out upgrades to improve the performance, or sometimes power outage. This can also be because telecommunication links and equipment failed to function properly.

When this happens, you are required to accept a claim that they are not liable to damages done to your properties, such as loss of profits, earnings, anticipated savings, goodwill or revenue. They are also not liable on loss of data during the interruption, as this has not been foreseen by the Supplier or the Life in the UK Test committee or the local testing center.

However, once the problem has been addressed, you can take / resume answering the test again.
